I received a B.A. in Human Development with a minor in Spanish literature from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) in 2002.  I teach Spanish I, II and III, AP Spanish, Career Exploration and the elementary tech classes.  I sponsor, Spanish Club, Chess Club and the Stew-Stras Travelers.

We moved from San Diego, CA because we believe in the small town advantage.  My wife, kids and I have enjoyed living in the area for more than ten years now.  Spanish is my native language and I'm well experienced in the diverse culture.  I hope my love for language and culture transfers to my students.  I enjoy collaborating to create support and opportunities for students to receive an education that will prepare them for the future.
