Jump Rope for Heart

This is the fifth year the Stewardson-Strasburg Physical Educations students Kindergarten through 4th grade participated in the American Heart Association's "Jump Rope for Heart" program.  The students earned a total of $3,840 to help fight heart disease.  The third grade class was the top fundraisers while Kolton Stone, 3rd grade,was the top salesperson.Because they earned over $3,000, a "Zoo Crew" field . . .

Dangers of impaired driving

Stewardson-Strasburg High School and Windsor students had the opportunity to learn about the dangers of impaired driving.  Students were able to use goggles that simulated impaired vision and balance.  Students also drove a golf cart through cones with those goggles.  In the afternoon both schools met in Windsor and had the opportunity to listen to a community member speak about the effects that impaired driving has had on . . .

Stew-Stras 3rd Graders Enjoy Field Trip to Monical's Pizza

On Tuesday, April 25th, Mrs. Dunaway and Mrs. Ruff's  third grade classes enjoyed a field trip to Monical's Pizza in Shelbyville. The third graders went to Monical's as a culminating activity for the "From Farm to Table" program through the Shelby County Farm Bureau's Ag in the Classroom. ABC Countdown to Summer!

The fourth graders in Ms. Green’s room are celebrating the last 26 days of school by having an ABC countdown to summer.
