HS SOM - Mar

Ty Smith, the son of Ethan and Annie Smith, was named the March Junior High Student of the Month.  He is in the eighth grade.  His teachers nominated him because he is very polite, helpful at all times and is very engaged in class and wants to do his best.

He participates in track and he enjoys cheering on all his fellow classmates at all the athletic events.  Outside of school he is a member of the F.A.R. 4H club and he shows cattle and sheep.  He also shows sheep all over the United States from South Dakota to Massachusetts.  In school his favorite subject is science.  It is fun and Mr. Friese has really made science this year even more interesting.  When he isn't at track practice or sheep shows he enjoys his chores, exercising his show animals and rides his 4-wheeler.  In the future his plans are to go to Lake Land College, Lincoln Land College or Northern Oklahoma College for a program in agriculture and compete on a Livestock Judging Team.

Now to share some fun facts.

If you won the lottery how would you spend it?

"If I won a large sum of money from the lottery, I would have everything I need to make my farm facilities and livestock the best they could be."

If a genie was able to grant you one wish, what would it be?

"If a genie granted me one wish, I would wish for a maroon diesel swapped cyber truck."

If you had one super power, which one would it be and why?

"Controlling time for sure!  If I had the power to control time I would be able to spend more time with my grandpa before he passed away.  We could watch all the Tom and Jerry episodes that we wanted and not waste a day of work."
