Henry Vonderheide and Rowan Foreman both read their winning essays at the district American Legion meeting.
Henry’s essay placed 1st in the district 9th & 10th grade contest and Rowan’s placed 2nd.
Other winners from Stew-Stras included: Jack Stremming, 3rd place in 11th & 12th grade and Finn Greenwood, 2nd place in 7th & 8th grade.
